Header and footer
The header and footer are section groups. You can add, remove and reorder sections in them from the top and bottom of the theme editor's sidebar.
Announcement bar
Add one or more Announcement blocks, each with text and an optional link. With several announcements, turn on Auto-rotate and set the speed. Hovering or focusing the bar pauses it, and there is a pause button for accessibility.
Header

Mega menu
Any top-level menu item with three levels (item › column heading › links) opens as a full-width mega menu on desktop. Items with two levels open as a compact dropdown. On desktop, menus open on hover and on click, and the keyboard works too (Enter opens, Esc closes). On mobile, the menu opens in a drawer with expandable groups.
Footer
Add blocks to build the footer:
- Brand information: logo, heading, text and social icons.
- Footer menu: a heading and any menu.
- Text: a heading and rich text, for example opening hours.
- Email signup: a newsletter form. Subscribers are saved to Customers with email marketing consent.
Footer settings also control the country and language selectors, payment icons, policy links and the Follow on Shop button. That button needs Shop Pay to be on.
Mobile bottom navigation
A thumb-friendly bar at the bottom of the screen on phones. Add up to five Item blocks. Each item can be Home, Link, Search, Cart or Account. Remove the section if you don't want it.
