Languages and markets

Sienna Beauty is built for selling internationally. It supports multiple languages and currencies, and right-to-left scripts.

Country/region and language selectors

1. Set up your markets in Settings › Markets and your languages in Settings › Languages.
2. In the theme editor, open the Header or Footer and turn on Show country/region selector and Show language selector.

The selectors only appear when your store has more than one market or language. Prices are converted to the shopper's currency. To show codes such as "USD" next to prices, turn on Theme settings › Currency format › Show currency codes.

Translating your store

Install the free Translate & Adapt app. It translates your products, collections, pages, navigation and the theme's own text. You can also edit the theme's built-in text in the admin: go to Online Store › Themes › … › Edit default theme content.

Right-to-left languages

When a shopper browses in Arabic, Hebrew, Persian or Urdu, Sienna Beauty switches the whole layout to right-to-left automatically. This covers menus, drawers, carousels, icons and the product gallery. You don't need to set anything up.

Taxes and duties

The cart and product pages show the right notes, such as "Taxes included" or "Duties and taxes included", based on your market's tax and duties settings.
